As a precautionary measure to protect our bird collection against the threat of Avian Influenza, outdoor birds at the Rosamond Gifford Zoo will be safely quarantined off exhibit.

The main feature of the zoo’s expansive Courtyard is the Waterfowl Pond with its iconic fountain and dozens of species of wading and diving birds. The pond is home to our flock of Chilean flamingos as well as many exotic ducks and geese.
