The half-mile Wildlife Trail offers a beautiful walk past animal habitats that fit perfectly into our temperate Central New York climate, including several species that prefer cold weather. Look for Gray wolves, Amur tiger, Turkmenian markhor, Bactrian camels, Sichuan takin, Red wolves and White-lipped deer as well as the critically endangered red panda and snow leopards. The Wildlife Trail also includes the Penguin Coast exhibit, home to a large colony of playful Humboldt penguins, and the Helga Beck Asian Elephant Preserve.
