Tickets On Sale for Brew at the Zoo 25th Anniversary presented by CXtec

SYRACUSE, NY, May 24, 2021 — Brew at the Zoo 25th Anniversary Presented by CXtec on Friday, August 6

The Rosamond Gifford Zoo’s popular summer event, Brew at the Zoo, is celebrating its 25th anniversary with new brews, new food options, live entertainment and a new presenting sponsor, CXtec, Inc.

Advance sale tickets for Brew at the Zoo 25th Anniversary Presented by CXtec go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, June 4 at rosamondgiffordzoo.org.

“Our popular craft beer-tasting fundraiser went virtual last year, but this year’s in-person event brings it back on-site with a lot of new additions,” said Friends of the Zoo Executive Director Carrie Large.

“New this year, we are adding local food trucks and offering live entertainment throughout the zoo, all for a price of $40 for non-members and $37.50 for zoo members,” Large said. “You can get the VIP treatment for $85, or $83.50 if you’re a member. It’s going to be an amazing event to benefit the zoo’s conservation education mission.”

Advance sale tickets go live at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 4 through Monday, August 2 at $37.50 for zoo members and $40 non-members. After that, regular price tickets will be $47.50 for zoo members and $50 non-members through August 6.

VIP tickets providing access to exclusive areas and beverage tastings, appetizers by Catering at the Zoo Executive Chef Dan Hudson, animal greeters and dedicated VIP comfort stations are $83.50 for zoo members and $85 for non-members.

Friends of the Zoo also is offering designated driver tickets for $15, Large said. “We care about our guests’ safety and we listened to requests for a low ticket price for DDs.”

There also will be a designated location for ride-share drop-offs. To ensure on-site parking at the zoo, guests can purchase a $15 reserved parking pass for a limited number of spots.

Brew at the Zoo is a fun opportunity for adults 21 and over to sample dozens of craft beers, specialty wines and other beverages and enjoy animals on evening exhibit at the zoo. There will be a live band performing in the zoo courtyard and other acoustic artists around the zoo. Food will be offered by area food trucks to provide a wide variety of options and support local businesses.

Food truck vendors and area breweries, distilleries and wineries are invited to apply to be part of the event by calling Erin Sawyer (315) 435-8511 x8518 or email at [email protected]
